Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (1978)
Comedy/Musical/Horror Rated PG
Plot
From the moment it begins, this kitschy horror movie boasts the makings of a cult hit -- and that it has become, even though it's decidedly low-budget and filled to brim with camp. Tomatoes become public enemy No. 1 when they turn murderous, preying on humans. It's up to Mason Dixon (David Wilson) and his special team to stomp them out for good.
Acting
The acting in this is surpsingly not completely terrible.

Final Thoughts
Really bad movie, to me with the exception of the Scary Movie sequels, horror comedy only work well if the story itself is taken serious despite whatever stupid things may happen, and this movie is just plain stupid in every way. It does not take anything seruiously and everything done by the characters is done strictly to tryn to get a laugh, and nothing that would make any sense in real life. Which just make them not funny, the thing that makes movies like Shaun of the Dead funny, is that despite the stupid things people may do, it makes sense that the character would do that, in this nothing makes sense, and not much is funny.
