A high school prom faces a deadly threat: a flesh-eating virus that spreads via a popular brand of bottled water.

Actually pretty decent, the one thing Ti West movie seem to do right is casting solid unknown actors.

Fingernail removal, (one of the few scenes in movie that can make me cringe), some limbs are sawed off, people are shot violently, and there's tons of random blood laying around.

A body double I seen topless a few times, and there some pool sex that shows a guys ass as he gets out of the water.

During my review of "House of the Devil" i couldn't decide whether or not Ti Wests other movie where overrated, or I just didn't like the guy, well after this I can say with all certainty that I don't like Ti West. The first "Cabin Fever" was a very good horror movie that was semi-unique and suspenseful, as it kep a very realistic tone throughout. This movie is the opposite, its a completely cookie-cutter movie that goes way over the top with the gore, and comedic attempts. There where multiple times during this viewing experience where I forgot I was watching a horror movie as its plays out like a crappy teen comedy, with a few random scenes of blood thrown in. A big time mess of a movie, the virus makes no sense in this movie, as its not focused on or explained at all, random high school kids just randomly (randomness seems to be the only plotline) start bleeding all over the place. Also wastes Guiseppe Andrews and has a bad and pointless cameo by Judah Friedlander. We've been waiting for this sequel for a long times, and it certainly wasn't worth the wait. Skip it.
