Dead Air (2009)
Horror/Sci-Fi Not Rated
Plot
Logan Burnhardt is the ego-king of the airwaves, but his unflappable persona is put to the test when a terrorist bio-attack unleashes a plague of flesh-ripping maniacs on Los Angeles.
Acting
The acting is solid overall I thought the guy who played the main villain was a bit weak, and Bill Moseley was a stand out as usual.
Gore
Some zombie violence
Sex/Nudity
None
Final Thoughts
A movie very similar to "Pontypool" although not quite as good. The plots are incredibly similar, and both have very good leads, and are story based and light on gore. This movie was Produced and Directed by genre acting veteran Corbin Bernsen, and he definitely shows talent for story telling, although i think his future directorial efforts would be better off outside the genre, as I think he cares much more about story than action. A good movie, well worth going out a seeing, I would recommend Pontypool over this, but you can't go wrong either way.
