Plot
A witch hunt in Devonsville 300 years ago purges three young ladies, one of which screams a curse as she disappears into the nether world. Now it's The Present, and things come to a head when a man kills his wife, thus activating the curse. A new school teacher comes to town, and finds the town suspicious of her, as she tries to find out what the town is hiding.
Acting
Stars Donald Pleasance, who as always is the standout. The rest of the cast range from below-average to average.
Gore
A guy has his face melted
Sex/Nudity
A women is briefly seen topless in the mirror, while she changes. A few other brief topless in darkly lit ritualistic scenes.
Final Thougts
Finally a Lommel movie worth watching, it took long enough to finally find one, but this is it. It's still not a great movie, not really even a good one, but as an average movie made by Lommel, it might as well be Dawn of the Dead. It tells a decent story, but has some very annoyingly over-the-top characters, and does drag at times as its almost complete dialogue based, but if like me, your tired of sitting through this guys terrible serial killer movies, its worth watching.
