Plot
Vince is handling his divorce badly. He's depressed. Gone to pieces. But his mates aren't giving up on him. Struggling with their own women troubles, they drag him off for an ultimate lads drinking weekend in the country. Arriving in the village of Moodley where the women outnumber the men 3:1, the boys find themselves holidaying in a village overrun by psychotic, homicidal Zombirds with a thirst for male flesh.
Acting
Features a bunch of British guys i wasn't familiar with all of whom where perfectly cast, and played there roles very well. Also feature Christina Cole in a short, but highly entertaining roles, and Gore Zone magazines, Emily Booth as one of the zombies.
Gore
Tons of stabbings, a beer bottle through the chest (great scene), decapitations, bloody gunshots, a women completely obliterated by a bus, tons of blood splatter, and lots of gruesome aftermath shots.
Sex/Nudity
None
Final Thoughts
"Doghouse" was a very good movie and a pleasant surprise. Although during the first 15 minutes or so, many of the jokes fall flat, following that its a nearly flawless movie. It's actually funny, and has great gore & special effects sequences, and despite only have maybe 10 minutes of back story before getting to the meat of the plot, it still has very likable and relate able characters. The plot is completely ridiculous and sometimes over-the-top but still very unique and enjoyable. Definitely a movie every zombie fans should see (although there not exactly traditional zombies). I think most of you will find it on par with fellow Brit zom-com "Shaun of the Dead" and i found it better than that, certainly funnier. Works great as both horror and comedy, and never have I hoped for a sequel so much.
