GoatSucker (2009)

Horror     Not Rated

Plot

Capitalizing on a rash of sightings of the legendary creature called El Chupacabra, Spanish for The GoatSucker, a touristy hiking company creates a GoatSucker hiking tour. The pleasant hike turns into a nightmare when disturbing events cause the group to suspect that The GoatSucker may be more than just a legend.

Acting

It's bad, but it's "Enjoyable Bad" and doesn't really hurt the movie.

Gore

One of the attacks has some blood in it, and there a scene with the "GoatSucker" covered in blood. The rest of the violence i off screen.

Sex/Nudity

Not quite.

Final Thoughts

Despite it complete lack of gore, sex, acting talent, etc.. I enjoyed this movie. I thought the story was interesting, and well written, despite a few cliched characters, and one annoying one, who was just a minor character. I certainly would recommend this to people who don't mind bad acting and definitely one to go out and get, and make sure you watch it all the way through, as its got a great final sequence. If you want to buy it, click on the cover photo at the top of the page, and it will take you to the company's website. A low-budget gem.
