After a high school track runner, named Laura, suddenly dies from a heart attack after finishing a 30-second 100-meter race, a killer wearing a sweat suit and a fencing mask beings killing off her friends on the school track team one by one. The suspects include the track coach Michaels, Laura's sister Anne who arrives in town for the funeral, the creepy school principal Mr. Guglione, and Laura's strange boyfriend Kevin.

Star among others, the average as ever Christopher George as the over-bearing track coach, his Niece Vanna White (Wheel of Fortune) in a very small role as some student, that still is enough to show her lack of acting abilities., and Linnea Quigley as a horny teenager (what else?).

A slit throat, a decapitation and a few impalements

Of course Linnea Quigley gets topless, this time while seducing a teacher to earn a "A". Also another girl is shown topless, while changing into a leotard, and a girls top comes undone as she runs through the woods.

After watching "Going to Pieces" the other day, I was inspired to view some of the movies mentioned, that I  hadn't yet seen, and this was one of them, it was not however the best one to start with. Despite  being released just at the start of the slasher boom, this movie was very tame on both the gore and nudity, when compared to most of the better, and for that matter, worse movies of the era. In addition to lacking on gore it also lacked on the story end, as there was very little involved, it complete jumped from random scene, to a kill scene, back to some random scene, all involving characters we don't know at all. Not a terrible movie, but certainly not one of the better ones of the time period and genre. Skip It.
