In Germany, as graduate student Katie Armstrong researches cannibal killer Oliver Hagen for her thesis, she becomes obsessed with her subject and ultimately plunges into a lifestyle similar to Hagen's and the thousands of people like him.

Although Keri Russell may be most prominently featured on the cover art, the characters portrayed by Thomas Huber and Thomas Kretschamn, both of whom turn in great performances, are the focus of the movie.

Mostly "implied" gore that happen nearly all off screen.

WAY too slow. There where multiple times that so little was happening on-screen, that you might as well be listening to a book on tape. The story is somewhat compelling, but at the snails pace the movie travels, it just gets boring after a while, though i would still recommend this movie. despite it's desperate need of some action to break up the story.
