A mutant strain of giant ferocious piranha escape from the Amazon and eat their way toward Florida.

Barry Williams was surprisingly decent, but the rest of the cast, especially 80's pop star Tiffany, where absolutely awful. Not only did they suck, but also appear to not even be making an effort.

Lots of people are shredded by the title fish.

I watched this on it's SyFy channel debut, so there was none, but there where a few scenes in the beginning, that lead me to believe there will be some gratuitous nudes scenes added onto the DVD release.

WOW, this was bad. I don't have much of a probably with completely ridiculous story lines ( I enjoyed "Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus) but this was even more ridiculous and boring than that was. It does have some decent gore during the attacks, but really every one is exactly the same. The special effect here, even when considering it was a SyFy channel movie, made by the folks at The Asylum, where dreadful, the script sucked, not just the plot, but the very choppy, non believable dialogue. While it does have some bad movie charm, it fails to reach that infamous "So Bad, It's Good" plateau. A perfect example of the worst (or best, you decide) of both SyFy channel originals and The Asylum productions.
