Two UCLA coeds have engine trouble in small Southern town. When they spurn the local sheriff's advances he arranges for them to be taken to the women's prison on trivial charges (the judge is a cousin), where they must endure atrocities at the hands of the administrators of the prison and the prison guards.

The main cast, which include Chuck Connors, Deborah Raffin, Lynne Mooody, Tina Louise, and Robert Reed, is pretty average, and real don't bring much extra to the table, but Della Reese as a supporting character is a bit of a showstealer.

Some chase scenes through the woods and some shipping scenes.

Like any good (or bad) Women in Prison movie, its full of gratuitous nudity. Fully naked women brawl, rape, and whip each other. There's also some stunt boob before a rape scene.

A well made WIP movie, with decent though unspectacular acting, and despite its ridiculously unrealistic plot, it's well written, with a logically told story. Get's a bit slow at times, but ultimately delivers on everything the genre should.
