Valentine's Day is anything but ordinary for radio shock-jock Grant Mazzy when he stumbles into a crazed woman on the way to work. That's just the beginning as a lot of other people in the small Ontario town of Pontypool start acting awfully funny.

Stephen McHattie is absolutely incredible, with one of the best horror performances of all-time. The rest of the very small cast are also very good, despite most not haveing a ton of experience.

This is an incredibly unigue and inventive movie that despite being completely dialogue still manages to not only hold the viewers interest, but also mangages to confuse, excite, thrills and creep them out, all at the same time, and even throws in some laughs. Great movie that should be seen by all.
