The puppets return the original master, Andre Toulon, back to life inorder for him to help them kill and collect brains for more fluid for them to live off for another half century. And when a inspective group come to the hotel believe in nothing but Alex Whitaker's stories they keep watch, and throughout the movie they are hunted down one by one for their brains and when Andre sees Carolyn Bramwell who looks just like his dead wife Elsa, everything goes to hell.

The mostly unknown cast (Thought Buck Flowers does make and appearance) does there jobs perfectly adequately, without anyone shining or falling flat.

The gore is ramped up a little bit from the near bloodless first movie, as this time there is a very nice scene where the power drill doll drills itself into someones head, and a scenes where someones face is badly sliced up.

A brief skinless sex scene, some breasts as a women gets out of bed, and some man ass as a guy escapes a fire in his hotel room.

While mostly more of the same, I actually liked this edition better than the first. While the first had a better, less cliched storyline, this sequel increases the trashiness that the first one lacked on a bit, and it benefited from that. While i recommend both films, I would urge you to watch the first movie before coming to this one, though it's not really necessary, as there is enough recap type stuff in this to catch you up on the storyline of the series.
