Plot
A chance encounter at a laundromat between a young man and young woman turns into an afternoon lunch date. As they get to know each other, bizarre stories begin to unfold, some fact, some fiction about each other's past. Eventually, the Young Man delves into a story about a birthday party whose guests began to be systematically killed off by a maniac in a white jump suit. The Young Woman, oddly enough, becomes more and more intrigued with the tale as the mayhem mounts. Is this the beginning of a beautiful relationship or a building block leading to a day ending in madness beyond fairy tales?
Acting
Features Henry Thomas and Kelli Garner as the lead characters/narrators of the film, neither of which is particularly entertaining. The cast in the story's told by the main characters are made up of mostly unknown actors, with a cameo appearance from Forrest J. Ackerman.
Gore
Lots of creative kills, however many of them happen off=screen, but there is also plenty of on-screen kills, including stabbings, decapitations and a person sawed in half. All are complete with ridiculous amounts of blood.
Sex/Nudity
One sex scene which shows full frontal female nudity, and some man ass.
Final Thoughts
A very odd and sort of experimental slasher movie, with OK actors playing bad characters in both the leads and supports, and a decent, but slightly too comical story. After watching this throughout, i really couldn't decide whether I liked it or not, but the more I think about it, the less I like it. I did think the idea was solid, but I think it was poorly executed. It does deliver well on the gore, but there was not a likable character in the bunch, and some, Henry Thomases in particular got annoying after a while, as the tried to hard to avoid cliches. Not a failure, but certainly plenty of room for improvement, and i wouldn't mind seeing a sequel.
