Officer Brown, a big city cop comes to Adams, Massachusetts to get away from all the crime, but stumbles across a deadly secret. Adams is the sort of town that you can visit but never leave. Officer Brown soon discovers the horrible truth that is THE RISE OF THE SCARECROWS.

Although there are some people with good screen presence, there is very little raw acting talent involved.

Certainly an improvement over there first movie "Evil Awakening" but its still a very flawed movie. Other than the problems most low budget movies have such as bad acting, using the same actors in every movie, etc.. One problem is that the make the "bad guys" over the to make sure they are unlikable, and the hero is just not a great character. It's in the middle of the pack as far as "killer scarecrow" movies go, certainly better than "Dark Harvest 2 & 3" but not on the level of "Dark Harvest" and "Night of the Scarecrow", b.ut overall its probably worth seeing once
