Ten years after graduation, six high school friends celebrate their reunion by renting a secluded hunting cabin. However, the party ends abruptly as several members of the group go missing. As the night progresses, a secret is uncovered which reveals one of the most controversial and brutal twist endings in cinematic history.

Average for a film of its kind and budget. Just don't act this group to fake a smoker's cough, because they are horrible at it.

ROT certainly fails to proved any sort of original storyline, characters, kills. All that is as generic as it can get. It is however more suspenseful, and more well made than most low budget slasher movies. It also has a killer who is not incredible obvious, as besides one scene shortly before the reveal, there is nothing that directly points to who the killer may be. There is also a solid plot twist revealed right after the killer is revealed. Despite it largely generic attributes, ROT ends up being a slightly above average slasher movie which is worth your time and efforts.
