Plot

While searching for a "cure all" serum, Dr. Edward Kanopolus, "Dr. K", is being pressured for results by the pharmaceutical company funding the project. With time running out, tragedy and desperation drive him to make decisions that will jeopardize the lives of everyone around him and ultimately unleash a terrifying monster on a killing spree. SERUM is a cutting edge thriller filled with twists and turns that will leave you breathless as you watch the bloody chaos unfold!

Acting

Nothing special, but nothing terrible. Fails to take away or add to the overall experience.

Gore

A person is cut with a saw, which leads to blood splatter, and some bloody zombie attacks.

Sex/Nudity

A women is seen topless while sunbathing and oiling herself up.

Final Thoughts

"Serum" is a bit of a throw back to the pre-romero zombie films, that focuses on a single zombie, created by a scientist, rather than the modern hording, brainless zombies. It however is not as good as many of those movies, as it kind of gets boring after a while, and lacks the gore and action of more modern day style zombies films. It still however was worth the $3 i paid for it, and by no means do i regret watching it. It doesn't provide anything original, or fascinating, but a decent watch none the less.
