The movie takes place some 15 years after the events in Fear of the Dark. Peter Jacobs is a well-known B-movie actor who is writing his memoirs. Having never been truly satisfied with the investigation of his wife and son's murders, he returns to Fairview Falls seeking answers. What he ultimately finds is Ethan Fernier aka the Black Rose Killer. Ethan, now in his sixties, is dying. He lives in isolation with his son Alec. What is the truth behind the infamous serial killer? Will Peter find the answers he seeks or will he fall prey to the Black Rose Killer? Some secrets were never meant to be discovered. Some secrets should just stay buried!

The first half has to be carried by Richard Redmond, who sucks, the second half if carried by Pete Barker and Joe Lauria (who died this past august at 32) both of which are good in there roles. Supporting cast is fine,

Some people are stabbed, axed, and bashed to death in a semi-bloody manner.

A model is shown completely nude during a photo shoot/love scene.

The first half of this movie is pretty boring, with the typical citizen investigated the murders storyline, but the second half which is an interview segment with lots of flashbacks is much more intriguing and makes up for the dreadful first half, which overall makes it a movie worth seeing. This is the 3rd movie in the Black Rose Killer trilogy, which follows "The Tenement"and "Fear of the Dark" which together make for a solid micro budget story based trilogy. I look forward to the upcoming spin off ""Fairview Falls".
