During a party in the Theta-Pi sorority house, the sister Megan plays a prank with her unstable boyfriend Garrett simulating an OD after using pills. Her sisters Jessica, Claire, Ellie, Cassidy and Garrett's sister Chugs suggest to dump her "body" in a lake and the stressed Garrett sticks the tire iron through the Megan's chest killing her. Cassidy decides to call the police, but the sisters are convinced to dispose the body in a shaft and keep in secret under the leadership of Jessica that blackmails Cassidy. Eight months later, in their graduation party, the sisters receive a creepy message with the picture of the tire iron in the beginning of a nightmarish night.

Probably the best acting you'll find in a slasher movie, Leah Pipes was great as the bitchy sorority leader, and Brian Evigan and Rumer Willis where very good as the heroes/good girls.

Tire irons to the chest, head and neck, an axe to the head, and a beer bottle down the throat.

Some women are seen topless getting out of the shower, in the shower and dancing at a party. All nudity is from random character, none from the main cast.

This movie of course is a remake of the highly overrated 1983 slasher "House on Sorority Row" and its a big improvement over the original. While considered a remake the plots are very basic after you get past the absolute basic of the plot. This movie is better written, acted, and directed than the original. It's also probably the best slasher movie since the "House of Wax" remake. Despite lacking a bit in gore, it tells a good story and is well acted by the cast of Hollywood's rising young stars.and is definitely worth you time.
