Suburban Sasquatch (2004)

Horror/Fantasy    Not Rated

Plot

The always mystical and mysterious Bigfoot is out to make his presence known and claim his territory. No longer hidden under the veil of forestry, the beast is on a blood thirsty rampage right in the heart of peaceful suburbia! A local reporter is on the scene following victim after bloody victim. The cool calm of middle class living has been ravaged by the savage beast and the police seem to be hiding something. Who can stop this terror and who will survive the brutality of SUBURBAN SASQUATCH!?

Acting

Sue Lynn Sanchez was very good in the female lead, and i was disappointed to find she had no other IMDB credits to her names. The supporting cast is below average, but that is to be expected.

Gore

Several limbs are ripped off, a head is crushed, a small dog is ripped in half, and there are some bloody bow and arrow shots.

Sex/Nudity

None

Final Thoughts

This movie has the absolute worst special effect i have ever seen, but i think that added to the entertainment value of this movie, which is fairly entertaining throughout. Its ultra cheesy and campy, with little talent involved outside of Sanchez, and its does drag somewhat and should probably have been cut down a bit. Worth a viewing strictly for fans of no budget camp, as it does provide a unique take on the big foot legend that alone makes it worth seeing.
