The Disappeared (2008)
Horror/Thriller Not Rated
Plot
Following the disappearance of his younger brother Tom, Matthew Ryan tries to put his life and sanity back together. However the past keeps coming back to haunt him.
Acting
Harry Treadway was very convincing in the lead roles, Harry Potter's Tom Felton was decent in a supporting roles, and Ros Leeming is a scene stealer in her supporting roles. Very good acting all the way around.

Final Thoughts
This is a film with many positives and many negatives, the acting was very good all the way around, and the main character is very well written, and that atmosphere is highly fitting However there where a lot of repetitive scenes that seemed very out of place and fail to amount to anything. It started out well, but after a while it just needed to get to the point, as after all the repetitive scenes it becomes predictable and i just wanted it to end.Even at its about 90 minute run time, it seems overlong, largely due to the fact that it had literally only 2-3 minutes of back story, before it jumps right into the main story. It does pick up again somewhat during the last few minutes and comes to a satisfying solution, however, by that point i hardly cared. A movie the had its fair share of bright spots, but in the end, fails to live up to its potential.
