The Man in White/El Hombre de Blanco (1994)
Horror/Thriller Not Rated
Plot
The “Day of the Dead”, a local native celebration set in Baja, California is start of an eagerly needed vacation for Erika and her daughter Cristy. While waiting for Manuel, her husband, the vacation turns into a life or death struggle when she confronts the mysterious man in white…
Acting
It's mostly a two person cast after the first 15 minutes with Christian Bach and her daughter being stalked by the silent killer. Bach is fair in the lead roles, but is little more than what you would typically expect from this director.
Gore
Some gunshots that end with mild blood and brain splatter.
Sex/Nudity
None
Final Thoughts
Directed by Mexican schlock master Rene Cardona Jr. this, his attempt at stalker horror, is not as exploitational as many of his movies. It is also in the middle as far as entertainment value of his movies. It's a solid story and acting but the action sequences are a bit of a let down, leaving this film in the land of mediocrity. The good news is its usually available pretty cheaply, so if you are curious, you can get it failry easily, but really, your not missing much.
