The Surge aka The Source. I a production of the infamous Asylum. Although there known more for the mockbusters, such as "Sherlock Holmes" (With giant monsters included for some reason), "Snakes on a Train", "When a Killer Calls" (Better than When a Stranger Calls), Transmorphers etc... The thing i think they do is providing movie much like this, which provide with a very cheesy storyline, cheesy effects, cheesy, acting, and well, you get the picture, the just make plain old fashioned quality cheese, and "The Surge" is a prime example. It's by no standard a great movie, but its got a good story (kind of a reverse of "The Faculty") and a decent, unknown cast. It a solid hour and a half of entertainment, check it out.
