A lunatic runs around an apartment complex, apparently home only to attractive flight attendants with a tendency towards exhibitionism. While there, the lunatic tries to kill all the tenants with the contents of a toolbox. Based (probably quite loosely) on a true story.

Stars Cameron Mitchell, who at least provides a familiar face, but most of the cast are very much unknown and untalented.

A women's arm and back have a hole drilled in them, a screwdriver stabbing, a head is smashed with a hammer, which creates much blood splatter, and a women is shot multiple times with a nail gun.

Women are seen topless while changing, fully nude while running from the killer, and topless while in the tub masturbating.

"Toolbox Murders" have gained a reputation as an exploitation classic, but It only live up to that reputation on the sex end. The gore was very disappointing as there are only a few scenes, two of which (the drill and hammer bits) are pretty cool, but the others are pretty lame, the gore also end after the first 15-20 minutes, when the movie becomes predominantly dialogue based, and not very exciting. Definitely a bit of a let down overall. I can't say i regret watching it, but i do regret putting so much effort into finding a copy.
