Tornado (2004)
Action/Thriller/Sci-Fi Rated PG-13
Plot
Years after his brother is killed in a tornado, Josh feels compelled to capture the violent storms on film. He teams up with Nickie, a reporter researching new meteorological technologies, and the pair set out to get the story of a lifetime. But Nickie's also investigating another dangerous story, and Josh ends up running for his life from vengeful terrorists and a killer tornado.
Acting
Actually better than expected, Daniel Bernhardt was better than usual, and i thought Anya Lahiri was quite good as the gypsy girl.
Action/Gore
Despite starring Daniel Bernhardt there are only 2-3 fights scenes in the entire movie, and they are all prety good. Also some pretty bad Tornado destruction action.
Sex/Nudity
None
Final Thoughts
While it wouldn't classify as high art, this was the most unique Tornado movie I've seen, with a solid, inventive story, and solid acting. Considering its star, it was surprisingly very story based movie and actually told an interesting story. It has bad special effects, and the plot, while enjoyable to me, was a bit ridiculous, but if you want to see something unique and not another cookie cutter made for tv disaster movie, give it a shot.
