Victor Juliet's Director's Cut (2009)

Horror/Comedy     Not Rated

Plot

With No Budget and Less Talent, Independent Filmmaker Victor Juliet decides to make the most realistic Zombie film ever made, by using real victims and real zombies! With the help of his bodyguard Peter Thomas, and femme fatal Rachel Ward, nothing will stop Victor Juliet from completing his masterpiece!

Acting

I though that Victor Juliet who also wrote and directed was very good in the lead roles, and i also like his two cohorts as well.

Gore

There is a good deal of blood dripping and spraying, but not very much on screen violence.

Sex/Nudity

There was one very annoying scene where the female lead flashed the camera, but it was blocked out by a black bar. Either do the nude scene or don't do it, pick one.

Final Thoughts

The format which is used in this movie is fairly unique, and it has fairly crisp writing, but something was missing, not sure what. While i never found myself really bored or turned off by the movie, I also never found myself to be riveted by it either. I think Victor Juliet has a good amount of talent on screen and behind the scenes, but i would like to see him try again with something more trashy, and 80's drive in like. Also the special effects where awful. Not a bad movie not a particularly good on either though.

If you would like to purchase this movie for the very reasonable price of $7.50, you can go to there MySpace page and do so.
