It was fine and the cast did what was needed of them and nothing more.

Includes the infamous wood shard to the eye, as well as lots of your usual zombie violence, which is taken to a whole new level here. A gore fans dream.

Final Thoughts
AKA Zombi 2, AKA Island of the Living Dead, AKA Zombie Flesh Eaters, AKA Zombie Island, AKA Woodoo, AKA who the hell knows what else it may be called. Whatever you call it, its one of the bloodiest films of its era, and can even compete with the most gruesome of today' gore scenes. The gore scenes however are really the only reason to watch this film, as the story, acting, an script are all completely average in every way, and unlike Romero's films there is no social commentary, or real interest sub plots. The gore however is great and although it has cheap looking and over the top effect, where still enjoyable. Gore fans should check it out, but fans of storytelling and tradition movie making, may not care for it.
